Most Affordable Schools - Marcus Aurelius - 07-11-2018 I'm trying to compile a list of the most affordable schools a person could earn online credit from -- schools like Clovis Community College. What are some others? RE: Most Affordable Schools - quigongene - 07-11-2018 Luna seems to be coming out of their accreditation funk (moved to "probationary" as of 7/9). https://luna.edu/media/page_files/Luna_Community_College_Public_Disclosure_Notice_7.9.18.pdf RE: Most Affordable Schools - allvia - 07-11-2018 Important to note that these low cost options are good for in-state &/or out-of-state students as well New Mexico Junior College http://www.nmjc.edu/ - very low for in and out of state You mentioned Clovis Community College, but there are two one in NM and once CA Clovis Community College (NM) http://www.clovis.edu/ - very low for in and out of state I'm not sure about the Clovis CC in CA - but I made the mistake of going to thier site (http://www.cloviscollege.edu/) once and was through for a second - didn't realize there were two CCs with the same name. Isn't Luna the school you could (can) take online courses, but you had to do it in real time (fixed local time classes) with a webcam for a virtual classroom experience? It was very odd for an online course, not sure if they still have that requirement (if indeed this is the school I'm thinking of) - I know being yet another NM CC very low cost for both in and out of state. I wasn't aware of this school. Very affordable! RE: Most Affordable Schools - dfrecore - 07-11-2018 Rio Salado is a good CC - more expensive than the others, but has rolling start dates (every Monday), and the option of accelerated 8-week courses for most RE: Most Affordable Schools - Johmford - 07-11-2018 rccc.edu accepts CLEP and DSST, very flexible. 16 hour minimum through them for graduation with an associates. RE: Most Affordable Schools - dfrecore - 07-11-2018 Obviously if your state has an inexpensive CC system, then you should take courses in-state. But there's not a list there, you just have to know whether it applies to you wherever you live. CA is one for in-state tuition @ $46/cr. RE: Most Affordable Schools - mednat - 07-11-2018 Can't seem to find the schedule/list of classes for clovis? Anyone else seem them? I'm looking for cheap online math/computer science classes (Pre-calc, calc1/2,data structures, etc) RE: Most Affordable Schools - bjcheung77 - 07-11-2018 FYI, OP - you might want to take a look at this post as well: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Cheapest-per-credit-RA-schools-175-or-less-per-SH RE: Most Affordable Schools - Marcus Aurelius - 07-11-2018 (07-11-2018, 01:29 PM)bjcheung77 Wrote: FYI, OP - you might want to take a look at this post as well: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Cheapest-per-credit-RA-schools-175-or-less-per-SH Ah, excellent!
