The link in the email for registration didn't work for me, just took me to a pic of a guy that looks like he just graduated college but I was able to enroll through the regular home page no problem.

I emailed them regarding the issue and they just sent out a corrected email.

Also, they didn't link the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service even though you have to click to agree. They emailed me the links:

FYI - My "OnlineDegree Is Open!" email was flagged as SPAM (their previous emails had not been flagged as such). This is like the DegreeForum's version of Prime Day Smile - new Free Courses For All!

I'm taking the Micro Economic course now. This will take some getting used to

Disappointing that there's still a $9 proctoring fee, but not surprising. It's not odd that they'd want these proctored, and $9 beats any other proctor fees we've seen

I'll pay $9 all day long. my gripe is the long videos you MUST watch to move to the next part of the lesson. I sure like reading the lessons more than watching youtube videos, however for free I won't complain anymore Wink

"if you're not paying for the product, you are the product"

How will OnlineDegree make money off of me?

They wanted me to check out Baker University for an offer, but allowed for a no thank option.

Will OnlineDegree sell ad space in the course videos? or just sell my name?

We have no way to be sure, but according to the terms of service, you're agreeing to allow them to share your info with partners, so I'm sure that is one way. That and they probably have some kind of financial arrangement with the universities they are partnering with, plus referral bonuses no doubt.

You need $9 for proctoring and $40 for credit transferring.
