Where to get 6 credits of science for really cheap? - Pelican - 12-18-2018

I am trying to help someone who just needs 6 LL credits in science. It can't be from a non-traditional source like Study.com as it must be regionally accredited and in the USA, but sources like BYU's kind of self-paced classes might be okay, as long as it appears on the transcript of a RA school.

It can be kind of traditional science like Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Astronomy, Oceanography, etc., but not Social Science, Computer Science. Labs are not needed.

The student is a foreigner, so can't get in-state status anywhere. Is there any school that has some classes for out-of-state really cheap? The best I've found comes to $750+$300 in books for the two classes, which is way too expensive.

Does anyone know an affordable source?

ASU earned admission has Chemistry w/Lab, 4 credits. I think they have Astronomy as well but don't remember

Not 100% sure how these could work for foreign students but here are Some possibilities:
Rio Salado community college
Luna community college
New Mexico junior college
Clovis community college (new Mexico)
ASU earned admissions

I'll second Clovis CC (NM) - not self paced, but extremely affordable (in/out of state or international). I took my Bio I w/lab through them online - also, the supplies for the lab where very inexpensive and readily available just about anywhere. - http://www.clovis.edu/
