Hello good afternoon, I'm wondering does Saylor's BUS 202: Principles of Finance course transfer to Thomas Edison State University as equivalent to their FIN 301 Principles of Finance course?

Saylor credits are all reccommended as lower level unless something has changed recently. TESU has been stricter about this lately. I would suggest Finance 301 at Davar Academy if you don't mind NCCRS.

I'm pretty sure it will come into TESU as FIN-200 (Intro to Finance), just like the Study.com version.
However, as I mentioned in response to your private message, if you're pursuing a BSBA at TESU, you don't need the course to come in as FIN-301. The lower-level version works just fine. You only need upper-level courses in the AoS itself so there is no reason to make it harder on yourself by shooting for UL courses in the BSBA core.
When planning courses, you don't need the courses to come into TESU with the same equivalency as they recommend for their own courses. Transfer courses just have to cover the same content area to meet the degree requirements.
