Practice Test Scores - Mom23boys - 06-17-2019

DS is taking the BIO CLEP this week. He just finished Honors Biology with an A. He went through the Modern States program for the Voucher. He applied for it on Saturday and we hope to get it by tomorrow, then schedule the exam for Friday.

He took 2 Practice Exams over the weekend and his scores were wildly different. He got an 89 on the official CLEP practice exam and a 55 on Peterson's 1. He is going to review the topics that he didn't do well on  and take another practice exam tomorrow. My question is, which one tends to be more accurate for Biology? He was blown away by the differences in the exams.

Thanks

With Biology, it is VERY important to understand that this is a YEAR's worth of content, so the question bank is enormous.
He should take his other 2 Peterson's and then you'll have a more accurate assessment of readiness. Their tests -as a combined total of 3- will give you a better assessment. He hasn't had to answer enough questions imo.

PS Peterson's is a solid predictor of success, but not yet- take the other 2.
