A Cert in Info Systems at TESU - TwinMom - 08-17-2019

From a previous thread:

"Many people get an BA and an Associates for only 120 credits and don't need more courses. The thing that can't overlap is the Area of Study "

Does this apply to earning a Cert as well? I'm considering (for my boys) an ASNSM in Computer Science as well as a Cert in Info Systems as well as a BALS.  It looks like some of the classes could overlap between the AS and the Cert.

TIA

Well when I said that wasn't actually true. You can have overlap. I don't see why there is a problem with overlap between an Associates and a Cert.

I should probably edit my post because it is not true information. I was trying to say something else and it came out wrong.

I was also alluding to an Associates and Bachelor's of the same major don't make sense I guess.

I was more thinking if you wanted to double major the two AOS can't overlap except for 9 credits for a BA.

Oh! OK  No worries.  It just got me thinking.  I appreciate the clarification!
