Need quick UL course & Chem help- BS Tech Studies - scout2family - 09-12-2019

Hubby is down to the last 3 courses (and 2 capstone courses he's currently in) for his Tech Studies degree (he's finished all other courses for his BSBA. Yay!) and hoping to apply for graduation at TESU- by Oct 1. It's been quite a bumpy ride. Here are the issues I could really use a fresh set of eyes on:

1. SL Chem 1 came in as 'Survey' level Che-101-- is there somewhere he can test out to satisfy this and have it slot in correctly? I tried several times to get it ok'd. They physically have it in the 'correct spot' on the eval but it's still listed as Che-101 and not Che-121. And lab from SL is listed as Che-128. I'm sure once he goes for audit it'll get kicked out. He's confident he can pass a test.

2. He's getting towards the end of SDC Chem II& Lab. I must've been on opium the night I read on the forum here that SDC now fulfills the Chem 2 & Lab requirement. (no, I don't do drugs! lol) Ace has it listed 3+1. Will this SDC course likely fulfill this requirement or no? I'm thoroughly confused at this point with all of the late-night forum binges!

3. He is 2UL credit short in his AOS Technical Studies section. He's hoping to test out (Saylor, Coopersmith, Davar, etc.) instead of taking a whole course. He has taken:

COS-240 Operating Systems
CIS-301 MIS
CAP-295 Intro to Security Basics
CIS-320 Systems Analysis & Design- SDC

I've been trying to find this info for the past few days, somewhat frantically, and I could use some help. Initially I thought of having him take Saylors Software Engineering but have read on the forum and checking ACE, that it's not UL. Then I thought of a TECEP at TESU but not sure how that works with him applying for graduation Oct 1st for Dec graduation. The Tecep is listed for Oct and I have no experience with this process. Can he still work on courses after applying for graduation? I was really hoping to get everything done before Oct 1, saving the Capstones for last, but time has just slipped away. Are there other test out options to help check these last boxes?

TIA!

do you think the Cyber Security DSST would work? it comes in as UL.

Yes study.com added a chem 2 lab. but the lab is a separate fee and additional work beyond the normal chem 2. You don't automatically get the lab and credit for it, you must add it on, pay for it and do the work.

If you are worried about Chem just have him at least attempt the Chemistry CLEP free if you use modern states to study.

Hi natshar! I don't think DSST or CLEP will work, as we aren't close to a testing center. We're lucky to have internet that's reliable and fast enough for proctoring! LOL

He is currently taking Chem 2 w/lab (yes, we bought the darn $$$ kit).  All in all, it's been kind of fun! For me anyway.

I've been trying to find more info on how CSU-global transfers in. I would shoot this over to academic advising, but won't hear back until next week. We're hoping to get a class knocked out this weekend. Is there more info available?

I have found the link on CSU Globals website https://csuglobal.edu/admissions/transfer-info/transfer-evaluation-system but it doesn't list all their courses. Is there more info available for the rest of the computer-related CBE's and how they 'might' transfer in?

For the UL, Computer Architecture or Database Management from Study.com. Linear Algebra from Coppersmith could work. Also Basic Programming from CSU Global. AOS is weird for technical studies, so double check.
