WGU MSCSIA program to drop CHFI exam requirement - ChilliDawg - 11-01-2019

In speaking with my counselor at WGU last night, I have learned that the MSCSIA program will be dropping the EC Council CHFI (Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator) exam requirement. Nothing will be added to replace the exam.  He says that they will still give one voucher to allow the student to attempt the exam, if you choose.  This will take effect on Jan. 1, 2020

CEH will still be a requirement.

Good start, but all the EC Council certs are trash. I have zero interest in renewing the two I had to get for my bachelors.

I am definitely not complaining about it.  It was great news to my ears.

Not disagreeing, but apparently a lot of recruiters still care about CEH
