118 Units Complete, How To FINISH? TESU? - Narg - 11-07-2019

I just want ANY cheap BA to teach English internationally or possibly to get teaching credentials here in the US.

I have 118 units completed, 60 at CC majoring in English, 58 at WGU spread between their teachingĀ and marketing management programs.

Obviously no guarantee of TESU accepting them all, or all of them applying to their BA in English or Liberal Studies, but are they my best bet to wrap up a BA as quickly and cheaply as possible?

I'm basically open to any option that accepts the most units and gets me ANY (accredited) BA as quickly and cheaply as possible.

Going back to WGU doesn't make sense to me as A.) it sucks, and B.) my units there are spread between two different degree programs, so I'm much further ahead if I can combine all/most of those units elsewhere.

Any advice, suggestions or knowledge is greatly appreciated, thank you.

You'll need to apply somewhere like TESU or COSC and get them to tell you what they'll transfer everything as. That's the only way you're going to know what you still have left to do

I would try TESU if i were you, as they have far more options for different degrees, and they tend to be a little easier going on transfer credits, from my experience.

I suggest you look at COSC. Their BSLS is more forgiving of those Teaching credits than TESU (at TESU, they'd be considered Free Electives for which there are 27cr available, at COSC they'd be non-liberal arts for which there are 60cr available). Also, COSC lets you customize your concentration, so with a good many of your credits probably being UL, you may be able to cobble that together for a degree and be done with it. You'd probably have a BSLS w/concentration in Teaching & Marketing. or Teaching & Business. or Business & Marketing. you get my point.

Post all of your credits, and I may be able to help with a degree plan. List them as follows:

CC
Course #, course name, # of credits, grade if less than a C

WGU Marketing
Course #, course name, # of credits, grade if less than a C

WGU Teaching
Course #, course name, # of credits, grade if less than a C
