Study.com Artificial Intelligence - udi - 12-25-2019

Has anyone tried transferring AI into TESU yet? I wonder whether they will take it as upper level.

Not sure why it's not on the transfer doc, but it should come in as COS-451.

I need one more lower level course anyway, so I might just take it. I don't think the transfer equivalents have been updated in a while.

This course does not transfer to TESU.

How do you know?  Have you tried transferring it?  Been told by the registrar that it won't?

TESU Registrar:

"Unfortunately, as of right now, we are not offering credit for the Artificial Intelligence course from Study.com. I do not know when this might change, however I would suggest you look for an alternative course to complete your final upper level Computer Science course."

The way that answer is phrased, it sounds like it might be worth asking if they will accept it as a LL CS elective.

It's not accepted for credit at all.  Through phone conversations, I've been told that the university has no intention of accepting this course at any point in the future either.

If you need a lower level CIS course, consider the robotics class from onlinedegree.com. It transfers, supposedly, as CTR-221 Robotics Technology. I'm not sure if that's enough of a CIS to count, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper than taking the study.com class that wont transfer.

Funny how artificial intelligence is a required course here:
