TESU ASNSM in Computer Science Plan Help - Lulu1 - 12-28-2019 I currently have 48 credits and I'm going for a ASNSM in Computer Science through TESU. I'm trying to figure out what classes I have left to take and what categories the current classes fit in. I'm planning to take the rest of my classes through 'study.com.' These are the courses I have taken so far: ALEKS Corporation: College Algebra Study.com: Art 104: History of Western Art II Art 103: History of Western Art I Biology 101: Intro to Biology Business 109: Intro to Computing Finance 102: Personal Finance History 103: US History I Philosophy 102: Ethics in America Political Science 102: American Government Religion 101: Intro to World Religions Community College: English Comp I English Comp II Public Speaking Intermediate Algebra TEEX: Cyber Security for Business Professionals Cyber Security for Everyone Cyber Security for IT Professionals RE: TESU ASNSM in Computer Science Plan Help - udi - 12-28-2019 Have you thought about going straight to the bachelor's degree? I have thought of that, but I decided for now I just want to get my associates degree. RE: TESU ASNSM in Computer Science Plan Help - udi - 12-29-2019 You're so close. I would recommend applying and doing the credit evaluation. When you choose your electives, try to match the courses in the bachelor's in computer science. You will outgrow the associate's degree at one point and can easily pick up where you left off. RE: TESU ASNSM in Computer Science Plan Help - dfrecore - 12-29-2019 You didn't say when you completed the TEEX courses, so I can't tell if they're older or should be given the newer equivalencies. I am assuming newer, and created degree plans for you (ASNSM and BACS). I would choose courses that you can use in the BACS for your ASNSM, so that if you opt to get the BACS later, you're at least 50% of the way there and won't lose anything. For the TEEX courses I took them all in December of 2017, I think they might transfer as two credits(per course, 6 total) in the electives for my ASNSM. RE: TESU ASNSM in Computer Science Plan Help - darthweezy - 12-29-2019 I am under the 18-19 plan and I have all of the TEEX courses (CYB) in my evaluation for the ASNSM CS as AOS courses. Everything was approved via TESU several months back. Has something changed?
