FINANCIAL AID - Mitmike2019 - 12-28-2019

Hi all,

I just enrolled for the Jan BUS 421. Since my post 911 GI Bill 15 year term ran out last month, I wanted to apply for Financial Aid. My first questions:
1.  Is there a minimum number or credits I need be enrolled in to qualify?
2. My class starts on Jan 06 and I will pay out of pocket today, if I apply for Financial Aid and its awarded, will they back pay me?
3. Typically how long does it take to be approved or denied?

Thanks,

Generally, you need six credits for part time aid, nine for 3/4 time, and 12 for full time. But you have to contact the financial aid office at your school. You may get denied for only three credits.

My wife was getting financial aid when taking 3 credits at a junior college last year. She did this for 3 terms. I wonder if this is different at 4-year schools or is a TESU policy
