Masters Degree Where to start? - sbgs53 - 01-02-2020 I have my bachelors in Behavioral Science and am starting to explore masters degree options. I want to do it online and prefer self paced courses. I'm not sure what I would want a Masters degree in. What are some online options that are affordable and self paced? Is there anything else I should consider when looking at a program? Thanks in advance! RE: Masters Degree Where to start? - GoodYellowDogs - 01-02-2020 Self paced that I know of would be Walden University or WGU. They are both competency based. Walden has quite a few Psych MS programs. The have a half tuition for the entire program right now with some degrees. I think Capella has a flex path degree program too. I’m sure others will have more info. But these will get you started. RE: Masters Degree Where to start? - jsd - 01-02-2020 JFK University's has a flex self-paced MBA program RE: Masters Degree Where to start? - dfrecore - 01-06-2020 Not sure if competency-based is the same as self-paced? If your self-pace is to go a little slower, then competency-based is not the right fit. Instead, you'd want to find a school that was inexpensive, and would let you take 1 course at a time over a few years. But if you want to go fast, then CB is definitely the way to go. |
