TESU Cost - tpell1219 - 01-22-2020

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone has the information on in state cost to transfer all of my credits to TESU. Im planning on getting an associates in business, associates in arts, and BSBA Human Resources/organizational management. ( I’m one of those rare cases where I can make more money at my current job with multiple degrees) Also, how much is the study.com discount? I’m very close to transferring after a change from BSBA general management to BSBA Human Resources. I see a lot of information about cost but I haven’t seen information for New Jersey residents. Thanks for any help you can give!

Hi there!

I'm not sure what your needs are for your degrees (how many TESU courses you'd have to take), but this is a general overview and what I understand to be current.

Unfortunately for us NJ residents, there have been changes within the last year that haven't benefited us a whole lot. The Residency wavier used to be cheaper than out of state, however, it is now a flat rate across the board:

Also, the tuition changes have closed the gap since the study.com discount is cheaper than in-state tuition rate, which everyone, including out of state ppl can use, too. So at the end of the day, you'll want to use the SDC discount, not the in of state rate, if you need less than 12 credits:

The only way to save anything on the tuition for an NJ resident is to take at least 12 TESU credits and do flat-rate:

HTH!

RE: TESU Cost - tpell1219 - 01-23-2020

Thank you! I have completed all of the requirements through community college, straighterline and study.com. The only class I have to complete is finance at study.com. I also have certificates that give me credit.

I just want to make sure I have this right.

Application fee- $50
Residency waiver-$2,800
Capstone-$1,137
Graduation fee-$298

Any other fees that I am missing? Is there an added cost for two associates degrees? Or an added cost per degree?

RE: TESU Cost - jsd - 01-23-2020

Add another $1,137 for the cornerstone, unfortunately

Thank you. Do you know if there’s an additional cost if you earn multiple degrees at one time?

RE: TESU Cost - jsd - 01-23-2020

If you're doing them all concurrently, then it's just one grad fee

Indirect cost: textbook for the BUS capstone course.

Although if there two degrees don't have the same capstone, like a BSBA and a BA, then you would have an extra capstone to take and pay for.
