BYU Independent Study Questions - tobyisking - 02-13-2020

For anyone out there who have taken any classes through the BYU Independent Study program, I have a couple questions.
Am I correct in my understanding that the classes show up on a BYU transcript? Is there any mention of these classes being a self study class? Also if they are on a BYU transcript does that mean they are graded traditionally and not as pass/fail?

I am quite interested in a few of their course offerings although they are a little pricey. I have taken some courses with ASU's earned admissions, but they have limited course offerings.

I don't know about the BYU-IS courses, except that they are graded courses.

Can you tell me what you thought of the ASU EA courses? Which ones did you take, and what did you think?

I don’t like to throw out terms like “easy” for classes, but I thought the two I took were very manageable.
I took human origins and western civ. The workload consisted of what was considered to be a memory game. There was also a midterm and final, along with weekly quizzes.
