Quantic / Smartly - New DEAC Accreditation - SweetSecret - 02-25-2020

I believe this is new: https://quantic.mba/accreditation. If so, DEAC is CHEA recognized, so some schools may start accepting transfer credits. If I were not living in a state that Quantic cannot operate in I would be tempted to try applying again.

Yep, officially announced today: https://www.deac.org/UploadedDocuments/Public-Notices/Accreditation-Actions/022420_AC_meeting_report.pdf

Wow, you two are so fast. I was just about to post this and voila, it was already posted!
I posted about their initial application last month... wow, they did it so quickly! Amazing!
I am gonna apply now! Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Smart-ly-WorldQuant-Initial-DEAC-Application

Anyone want to check and see if Walden will take their credits? I am thinking they will but I'd like to know which courses and what the transfer equivalents would be. I don't think they will tell me since I already requested information on UoPeople which they seemed a bit annoyed with.

So does this Accreditation mean Quantic is RA or NA?

RE: Quantic / Smartly - New DEAC Accreditation - jsd - 02-26-2020

DEAC accreditation is NA

They have an accounting course for stocks and bonds I would like to take, but when I searched for them on DAPIP
(https://ope.ed.gov/dapip/#/search)

they didn't come up. Maybe it's still too early. In my state, I check this website because the CPA exam people use this. However, if TESU accepts the course on the transcript, that could also work ...

TESU does not accept NA credit.

I requested a transcript today and was told that only "registered" students can request transcripts. I was previously accepted into the EMBA program, but I did not pursue it because I was offered a half scholarship and that value was not there at that time.

I don't have a problem with this. It's new and not everything has been worked out.

Quantic does seem to provide transcripts at any point for students actively accepted and working through the program:

I have revised and resubmitted my application for the free MBA. My intention would be to complete the program.

It does place the business foundations certificate in a similar situation as the BOG associates and the Three Rivers CC certificate. Certificates without transcripts. Maybe that will change.

Hmm I wonder does this mean that once you've finished the free MBA you can't get the transcripts?  After all you won't be a registered student then.  Are free MBA students considered to be registered?
