BACS Plan - gams007 - 04-16-2020

Can some one please post a new study plan for TESU using Sophia as credit provider.

Thanks.

RE: BACS Plan - natshar - 04-16-2020

Well for that specific degree. Sophia will only fill the gens and free electives.

The only course that might work for a computer science aos would be Intro to IT and even that I"m not sure. So you the point is you don't need a specific computer science plan for sophia just a gen ed plan. If you already have your gen eds and free electives done then sophia won't be of much help.

Every time is something new with TESU not accepting courses I do not want to wast time studying something that at the end they will not accept later.

English 1 & 2 is something new! Do they accept Sophia's courses?

I agree about TESU

They USED to but their transfer list has been offline pretty much since Sophia offered their classes for free

Not sure if this will help, but how about this:

A. Intellectual and Practical Skills:

Sophia.org - English Comp. I and II

B. Civic & Global Learning:

Sophia.org - Introduction to Ethics
Sophia.org - Intro to Sociology

C. Knowledge of Human Cultures

Sophia.org - Introduction to Psychology
Sophia.org - Microeconomics
Can also do Sophia.org US History I and II, if you don't need it in E

D. Understanding the Physical & Natural World

Sophia.org Human Biology
Sophia.org Introduction to Information Technology

E. General Education Electives

Sophia.org - Macroeconomics
Sophia.org - US History II
Sophia.org - Ancient Greek Philosophers
Sophia.org - US History I
Can also do Sophia.org Introduction to Information Technology if you don't need it in D

And then, of course, any other Sophia course not listed there will go under free electives assuming it is accepted.

Also wouldn't Environmental Sci go under Physical & Natural World as well. And I think Sociology will go under human cultures

And then for quantitative lit/math algebra or statistics would work but not the foundation ones.

gams007, agent007 - just one word of advice - take all the courses that don't duplicate the ones you have taken... otherwise, take whatever is offered at Sophia.org for your general education and free elective credits, all of them work except for the fundamental courses...
