TECEP appeal - Salamander - 04-28-2020

Hi guys!

I just scored 68/100 on a TECEP for a UL course (CMP 345). I found some spelling errors and ambiguous questions and have sent an appeal to hopefully get 2 extra points and graduate on time.

Does anyone have any experience with something like this?

Thanks

Please give more info on the ambiguous questions?

I am about to take this test. I went through the Study.com prep course for CMP-354 Network Technology. I took the practice test at TESU and got 70% on the multiple choice. Cutting it pretty close. Thinking of taking the expired course at Saylor for additional review or the free IT training because of Coronavirus.

Just found some minor typos in some of the questions.

I studied the provided materials.

Did the minor typo change the question significantly?  Did you get the question wrong?  In other words, can you clearly draw the line between the minor typo and your score?

You should just try to find an alternative way for the credit if retaking the test isn't an option. It doesn't sound like these typos impacted the score.

Exactly. If it's just odd wording / typing I'd say move on. If it is actually confusing, making it impossible to answer the question correctly: good chances.

I was just looking at this TECEP the other day. Do you have experience in the field or did you start studying from scratch?
I'm trying to gauge the exam because some of the older posts talk about how a lot of old technologies come up on it.
