Can college algebra be substituted by those science courses?

Depends on the degree. Every degree doesn't have the same gen ed requirements. Many UL courses also have prerequisites.

Not sure what either of you are talking about.

EC requires A science course and A math course (at least 2cr each) for ALL of their degrees.

Now, whether a particular degree requires a certain level of math, or science, is another question altogether.

My list is for someone wanting to know where the Sophia courses fall.  It is not intended for any specific degree, it just tells you where things come in.

Thanks, I misunderstood thinking that in the science and math category any of those courses would fulfill the category. Thank you for the clarification. I thought it would have been odd if math was substitutable by science but each college is different and so I thought I'd ask. I have completed 3 science courses (not all sophia courses) and am currently taking algebra, so that option would have saved some time.
