Study.com to TESU - clep3705 - 07-02-2020

Student received final, confirmed completion of course from Study.com one week ago. Study.com profile shows student is a TESU student. Opened a ticket with Study.com asking when the course will be reported to TESU. TESU not showing a Study.com transcript or credit for the course. Study.com replied that an ACE transcript needs to be sent to the receiving institution. It looks like a canned response.

The issue is that one week from day Study.com is set to bill for another month. Is it going to take paying for another month?

You need to go to the ACE website, add the course to the transcript and request a new ACE transcript (to TESU).

Then what is the point of even entering TESU into a Study.com profile?

You need to use ACE.
Yeah that profile thing could seem misleading to think that they would be working together. But thats just assumptions that I had made up as well which werent true. You need to use ACE.

I thought TESU requests SDC transcripts come directly from Study.com, not an ACE transcript.

Last time I checked TESU wants SDC transcripts direct from SDC. You can do that quickly. On the dashboard in the top right corner there should be a send transcript button. You don’t need to have an active SDC account if you just want to send transcripts to a college, so no, you won’t need to pay for another month.

Last I knew, all Study.com courses had to be sent directly from Study to TESU. For free, so this is actually a good thing. But I'm going to check my sources to see if anything has changed.

Transfer your Study.com college classes to Thomas Edison and finish your remaining credits to earn your degree. Transcripts for Study.com courses will need to come directly from Study.com to Thomas Edison for an applicant to be coded as a Study.com student, and receive the partnership benefits. Without the Study.com transcript, a general Thomas Edison student coding will be applied.

RE: Study.com to TESU - ARhead - 07-03-2020

So maybe what they are asking for is ONE transcript from SDC "for an applicant to be coded as a Study.com student". After this, you may be able to just send them through ACE?
....just a thought.
