Davar CIS315 - Ilianasmile - 08-06-2020
Hi everyone, does any have any pointers for the CIS-315 exam with Davar? I am taking it tomorrow and have read through the study guide. What was everyone's experience?

How did you do on the chapter quizzes?
One thing I can share with you is that the exam is 60 multiple choice and 10 essay questions, and in my case one of the essay questions asked me to name and describe nine examples of whatever it was they were asking about. It was probably the single most grueling question of my college career.

OMG that is crazy. Was the material taken from quizzes or the study guide?

The question that sandbagged me was not one of the quiz questions, but the necessary information was in the study guide. I should explain that it was a one-off, there weren't any other questions that felt like getting hit by a freight train.
Even if I blew it completely, it was only four points. And I suspect I got at least two, maybe three.

I'm assuming you meant to ask, if you do well on the quizzes, would you be likely to do well on the exam.
If that's true, what I'd say is that if you do well on the chapter quizzes and memorize the study guide, you can likely pass the exam.

I agree. I've taken a few Davar now and I feel pretty confident that there are very few questions that aren't covered in the practice questions or the study guide.
