Hello guys,

Have you guys taken an online version ACT test which awards max 3 ACE credits?
https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/workkeys-for-educators/assessments.html

You can learn more about its Applied Math test here:
https://www.act.org/content/act/en/products-and-services/workkeys-for-educators/assessments/applied-math.html

It looks like the test can be taken online.

"National Career Readiness Certificate

To earn the National Career Readiness Certificate® (NCRC®), you must successfully complete the WorkKeys assessments in Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents. WorkKeys offers additional assessments to measure interests, values and behaviors that can lead to greater job satisfaction. Most tests are web-based and take one hour. Scores are easily verified online. "

Registration

WorkKeys Assessments are taken at any ACT-licensed test center nationwide. Please keep in mind that testing sites throughout the country may vary in the assessment delivery method – online or paper-and-pencil. Please contact your test site directly if you have any questions about what to bring on test day.

I found a testing center that offers paper / in-person version WorkKeys test:
https://www.aims.edu/student/testing/tests/workkeys.php
Fee is only $25 for all of WorkKeys tests.

Finally! I found a college that offers internet version WorkKeys test!

https://www.tctc.edu/programs/corporate-and-community-education/workkeys/

"

Why take WorkKeys?

Find jobs that fit your skills and interests.
Better determine your skill improvements and training needs.
Improve your opportunities for career changes and advancement.
Attach your CRC to your resume and show employers concrete proof of the skills you have achieved.
Rely on a nationally recognized hiring resource used by companies throughout Upstate SC.

NOTE: Tri-County Technical College ONLY offers the internet version of the WorkKeys assessment(s).

I think the 'internet-based' exam still requires you to visit the testing center.

Is it free? Do the 3 credits transfer to TESU?

You definitely still have to visit the testing center. I went to schedule an exam, as an experiment. TCTC expects me to go to their IBDC building on their Pendleton Campus. Fees are $56. If you have a testing location near you, $50-100 isn't bad for 3 credits.

RE: ACT online testing for ACE credits??? - nomaduser - 08-16-2020

Yeah.. the exam is not online Sad
If you live in US, you can take the exam at testing centers.

RE: ACT online testing for ACE credits??? - nomaduser - 08-21-2020

I hope they will offer this exam online. Its contents look almost identical to that of CSMLearn.
If CSMLearn can be taken online, then why not this one?

workkeys@act.org

This is their email. Please demand them to offer this exam completely online!
I already sent them an email.

I don't think demanding would be the appropriate approach.

I took the WorkKeys when I first got out of high school for free through a local job placement center. It was free. Might could look in to that.

They should make the WorkKeys exam available online! so anyone can take it to earn ACE credits.
