Pierpont AAS to WGU - natshar - 09-14-2020

Does a Pierpont BOG AAS meet the requirements for waiving all gen eds at WGU?  Anyone know from personal experience?

Last I checked it did not - they consider an AAS not the same as an AS/AA because generally an AAS doesn't have all the same requirements for the Gen Eds.

The WGU transfer guides for the specific degree you want breakdown what an AAS will cover vs an AS/AA. AAS doesn't cover as much.

Did you ever find out anything certain about this?

Life_One was able to transfer the BOG AAS into WGU and has a spreadsheet somewhere (they took the 1 credit class from PCC). I'm just not having much luck finding the post about it.

Thanks; you rock!  I’ll be receiving my BOG AAS May 7th, and hope to start at WGU in a few months.
