Any 1-credit, letter-grade courses? - ctcarl - 04-22-2021 I just need one letter-grade credit. I'm not certain that it has to be RA, but that would be safest. But I'm up against a deadline so I'm looking for something self-paced and asynchronous, that I can bang out and get transcripted ASAP. Anyone know of a specific course that would fit the bill? Thanks! RE: Any 1-credit, letter-grade courses? - rachel83az - 04-22-2021 The only ones I know of are the ones at TEL. $67 for either science labs or College Readiness. RE: Any 1-credit, letter-grade courses? - ctcarl - 04-22-2021 I'm trying to avoid TEL, but thanks! RE: Any 1-credit, letter-grade courses? - dfrecore - 04-22-2021 The 1cr Medical Terminology TECEP would only cost $50. Oops, forgot it's not graded, just RA. TESU has PLA-100 for a 1 credit course. The class only lasts 1 month. There are no books to read, papers are like 200-word ones that you can bs you way through. I got a near 100% A in it and took less than 5 hours total time to complete it. RE: Any 1-credit, letter-grade courses? - bjcheung77 - 04-22-2021 The PLA from TESU is a one credit course, so is the Jane Austin one people have been recommending, but it's a dang expensive option! Your fastest option is where you got your degree, Excelsior. Do an exam online with their UEXCELS by cramming all you can, just $110 plus fees. Note: This should be your best option is you test well! Basically, the fees are currently set at $55 for a 2 hour exam to $65 for a 3 hour one, so it'll be $10 bucks more for anyone thinking of graded credit from UEXCELS that are 3 hours long. I appreciate all the info, everyone! $600-900 is definitely too pricey for one credit, though. RE: Any 1-credit, letter-grade courses? - rachel83az - 04-22-2021 There's always a 3-credit course at Olivet. Physical Geography would probably be the quickest non-math option. Not only is it short but the required assignments appear, at a glance, to be relatively minimal. I can't turn up any more than one single sentence for a course description. |
