Upper-division economics courses? - nomaduser - 08-13-2021

Hello guys,

Where can I take affordable upper division economics courses?

Is there any affordable online college that will allow me to take upper division economics?

I need to take about five economics courses

Not at a school, but the Money and Banking DSST Exam is UL.

FHSU Grad-level Econ courses are $298.55/cr

ECON 640 Money and Banking
ECON 644 International Economics
ECON 651 Managerial Economics

U of Idaho Independent Study ($160/cr=$510/course)
Econ 343: Money and Banking

These are graduate level courses intended for economics teachers that transcript with a straight-up ECON prefix.

Geez, I give you 8 courses, someone else gives you more, and it's not enough?

Thanks for the courses but the FHSU courses are not available all the time. Some of their ECON online courses are available only once in two years.

Have you checked out BYU and U of Idaho's Independent Study programs?

I sympathize with you nomaduser. Upper-division economics courses seem expensive to come by, particularly for econometrics and math-based upper level and graduate courses. I have done a fair bit of searching and cannot find any for less than about $350/hour.
