Master's of Science Technical Studies TESU - xicovu - 09-04-2021 I've been browsing the TESU offering and Technical Studies may be another contender. What I saw that caught my eye was the M.S. Technical Studies. It has only 12 of 30 Credits list - 4 courses. What are the other courses in this degree? Is it build your own like the BS Technical Studies would be? Anyone have experience with this one? It's definitely not build-your-own. RE: Master's of Science Technical Studies TESU - xicovu - 09-04-2021 Bummer, I thought the area of study for it might be something where I could park this: https://www.coursera.org/mastertrack/iiot-boulder Graduate Certificate worth 9 credits I don't think Masters programs let you transfer credits, do they? RE: Master's of Science Technical Studies TESU - rachel83az - 09-04-2021 Usually not. Amberton lets students bring up to 12 grad credits to this degree, though: https://www.amberton.edu/programs-and-courses/masters-degree-programs/professional-development/degree-plan-details.html If you can find 3 more grad credits, tuition would be $8120. https://www.amberton.edu/choosing-amberton/tuition/index.html RE: Master's of Science Technical Studies TESU - xicovu - 09-04-2021 I doubt that degree will take Electrical Engineering graduate credits. It's unfortunate but I don't think I can use those anywhere other then the Coursera Masters, although it is still a graduate certificate on its own. Crazy part? It doesn't require you to have a Bachelor's degree. You pass the courses with a 3.0 and it's yours. If I can't find I suitable place to park all the non-credit studying I'm doing I might just do that. |
