Diploma/Graduation date - Taymass - 09-27-2021

Hello,

I will be completing my degree at the end of this term. Will I receive my diploma at the end of the year after the last term of 2021 or will I receive it shortly after completing this term? I hope my question makes sense!

You'd receive it most likely towards the end of term 2 or a few weeks after that completion. It took me about 6 weeks to get mine.

They confer degrees at the end of each term, but it will take several weeks. It took mine about 4 weeks to be conferred when I finished last March. The date on my diploma is the May Commencement. My transcripts reflect the March conferral date. It's a few more weeks after the degree is conferred before the diploma is mailed to you.

Is there an online "quick" option to print out while we wait for the official diploma to arrive?

No there is not a print out option available. You just have to wait for the diploma to be sent to you.

So if we finish in December we will be getting our degrees conferred maybe in January or possibly February and diplomas would show what kind of graduation date?

I know it's wishful thinking but receiving it before Christmas would be such a great present! Smile

But since Session 2 ends 2 weeks before Christmas, those odds are slim to none...well, not even slim. Just none. lol

Commencement and Degrees
Students who submit their Application for Degree by the deadline, and who meet the requirements listed will be allowed to participate in the May 2020 commencement ceremony. While we make every possible effort to review late applications, students who apply too close to the commencement ceremony risk being considered ineligible to participate.

Students will receive a diploma that will be dated August, December or May following the actual completion of degree requirements.  Diplomas are awarded only three times per year.

That really applies to on campus students. YourPace students are awarded diplomas at the end of each term. Mine was issued in March last year at the end of Spring 1 term. Everyone gets this email about Commencement and graduation every semester.
