If you say you're going to participate in Commencement then you get a cap & gown, tassel, and appropriate cords sent to you from UMPI.

Congratulations!!!! ¡Felicidades! I, too, am a 'quad-ra/quin-qua genarian' and aspiring to get my bachelor's at UMPI. I am sure your accomplishment has changed you in ways that no words can explain. Do you know who to contact for that matter? I sent an email to the person who is in charge( at least that is what it says at UMPI's website) and got no response.

I don't know who handles these items. They're mailed in multiple packages. You'll get an email closer to Commencement to order the cap & gown. None of this will be happening until spring. Commencement is held in May. That's the only Commencement ceremony they have.
