Cornell only closed down a few buildings. The campus is sprawling. They didn't cancel everything.
Even if it was to get midterms cancelled then they fall under idiots, attention seeking, and morons. Great way to be expelled and face federal criminal charges. Way worse than midterms.

Cornell's threat was called in on Sunday. There are no midterms on Sundays. Cornell is fully open and it's business as usual today.
