Graduate Schools that accept the most transfer credits - sanantone - 03-02-2022

With the free graduate certificate from Thunderbird, six LawShelf courses being evaluated by NCCRS at the graduate level (only $35 per course), and two of Coopersmith's courses being evaluated by NCCRS at the graduate level, I started looking for schools that accept the most transfer credits at the graduate level. I was already aware of Excelsior and Liberty. If you know of any schools that accept 15 semester hours/22.5 quarter hours or more, feel free to list them. The school doesn't have to accept NCCRS or ACE credits.

Liberty - 50%
Excelsior - 15 credits
Walden - 50%
Purdue Global - 50%
Franklin - 24 credits for doctoral programs (they'll accept excess master's and doctoral-level)
University of the People - 50%
University of South Florida - 49% (varies by program)
Harrison Middleton - 18 credits
Erikson Institute - 50% (must have letter of support from previous program)
Abraham Lincoln University - 50% for master's
Fuller Seminary - up to 2/3 (no more than 50% of transfer credits can come from a previous degree)
Dallas Baptist University - 4 of their online programs accept up to 50%
Concordia St. Paul - 50%
Rockbridge Seminary - 50%

I have more, but I'll have to get to it tomorrow or this weekend.

If Uopeople gets regional accreditation and accepts all the ASU courses, it will become an amazing deal.

I rifled through UoPeople's catalog, and I don't see any degree where more than, maybe, two of the Thunderbird courses match up very well as course equivalencies. Unless UoPeople is very flexible on that front, the lack of room for electives would limit the use of the Thunderbird credits.

WGU accepts graduate-level courses as transfer credits into their master's programs.

They also accept certifications for some of their tech master's programs.

Yup, it would depend on how flexible they are with accepting similar courses.

According to their website, they only accept transfer credits for their MSN and Health Leadership programs. On the Health Leadership page, it says the limit is 8 competency units, which is 24% of the degree. It's pretty typical for graduate programs to accept 6 to 9 credits.

Also, the certifications accepted for graduate transfer is limited to only a few very specific certs. The MSCSIA accepts the most(up to 3 certs for replacing up to 4 courses) and the other IT degrees only accept 1 or 2 at most.

sanantone thanks for the list.
Pricewise which are the 3 top choices or favorite choices for any other reason. Some places are unknown to me. I guess I am not the only one and is difficult to know which are good places to go.

From that list I believe Uopeople would be the cheapest.

This was not my experience at all. The MBA and MSML don't allow for transfer credit.

Amberton accepts up to 12 credits of grad credit for transfer. I transferred in 6.
