Google IT Badge revoked - ReyMysterioso - 03-29-2022
I logged into credly and noticed that my Google IT badge was missing from the list. I fished out the email with the link to accept the badge and tried reactivating it. I got a message saying "That badge has been revoked." What the?!? I logged back in to Coursera and my cert is still there so what the hell?

That's weird! I just checked and mine is still there. Does your Coursera account have a slightly different name than your Credly account? Are you one of the people who did a speedrun of the badge?

I speed run everything, man. There isn't enough time in one lifetime.

Maybe it was revoked because you "didn't spend enough time on it", then. Which is disappointing. If you know the material, you should be able to treat the certificate as an exam.

OP, did you get it back? How long did you take to complete the course?

I went through the entire Google IT in like 2 days.
In the first part, I watched all the videos on Youtube before I started the course. Still, I realized everything was pretty basic for me, considering I already had experience + a computer science degree. That's why I only did the exams for the rest of the course.
The networking part might be hard for someone without previous knowledge. I took networking basically twice. The 1st time I was trying to pass the TESU Networking TECEP, and the 2nd time I did the Networking course on Study.com.
Overall It was a pretty good course. My Credly badge is still there.
