Remaining courses in ASU's flavor of the Google IT Support Cert now listed on EA site - MNomadic - 05-20-2022

For those that don't know, ASU EA/ULC offers a Google IT Support Professional Certificate similar to the one offered on Coursera but with some additions:

https://ea.asu.edu/partners/google-it-cert/

The ASU EA/ULC site now lists all of the required courses:

  • CIS 194 Business Technology Fundamentals

  • CIS 194 Computer Networking in Organizations

  • CIS 194 Operating Systems Management for Business

  • CIS 294 System Administration and IT Infrastructure Services

  • CIS 394 Introduction to IT Security in an Organization

  • CIS 402 - Privacy, Ethics, and Compliance (not part of the Coursera Certificate, just a normal ASU course they added)
The final 3 course pages:

https://ea.asu.edu/courses/introduction-to-it-security-in-an-organization-cis-394/
https://ea.asu.edu/courses/privacy-ethics-and-compliance-cis-402/

They are not yet available for enrollment and unfortunately, it appears that all the courses in the certificate are currently required to be completed in order as they are the only ASU EA/ULC courses that have "hard" prerequisites that I've seen.  Undecided

Interestingly CIS 402, which is available for the more conventional ASU programs has different course prerequisites listed when you look at it from the main ASU course catalog>
