GEC at UMPI - Jennr2z - 06-08-2022 Which GEC 5A course is fastest? GEO 101 or SOC 100? Also, is HUM 103 really an 8-10 page paper? Thanks!
RE: GEC at UMPI - wildebeest - 06-08-2022 I don't know which 5A req is fastest, as I transferred in a sociology course that filled it. The body of my HUM 103 final was four pages. RE: GEC at UMPI - ss20ts - 06-08-2022 Most of us transferred in 5A. I am always hesitant to say what a Final Assessment is because they do change. I have seen several change since I completed the course. Some have even changed which class they us on Strut. 8-10 page papers are not uncommon in YourPace. There are courses that have a 15+ page paper. RE: GEC at UMPI - bjcheung77 - 06-08-2022 My recommendation is to follow the wiki and complete as many courses outside UMPI as possible, so that means the GEC and electives. The main courses you should take are the ones in the major or minor, plus the upper level requirements or at least the bulk of it. Depending on the degree you go for, these requirements change, the GEC/Electives are the easiest for transfer...
