Are we exempt from SOS-110 if we have a Bachelor's degree?

Yes, it was waived for me automatically.

You're exempt from all gen ed requirements at TESU when you already have a prior degree.

Thanks!

Upon completion of MBA from DPU University, India, I am interested in continuing my studies at TESU in BS Data Analysis. The only thing I need to do is complete the courses offered by Statistics.com. There is no capstone project.

If you already have a prior degree (international one evaluated as RA equivalent), TESU will have everything but the major requirements waived. You won't need to worry about the SOS-110 and the general education or free electives area. The BS Data Analytics is going to take the a while to complete as you need to take every course from Statistics.com into the program requirements. Yes, there is no capstone course required.

How do they canculate GPA for this degree?

RE: Second Bachelor | SOS-110 - jsd - 08-11-2022

Your institutional GPA will be calculated from any courses you take @ TESU. Other grades will not be reported on your transcript.

RE: Second Bachelor | SOS-110 - Cofffeee - 08-11-2022

As i understand there r no courses at TESU to be taken in this case. So i wonder what GPA for this degree looks like...

RE: Second Bachelor | SOS-110 - jsd - 08-11-2022

Then there wouldn't be an institutional GPA.

Before TESU required capstones (and then cornerstones), or let you transfer in the old BSBA capstone way back when, you'd just have no TESU GPA in the transcript if you transferred in 100% of your courses. Like WGU or other Pass/Fail programs (though WGU gives you a note about an "equivalent" GPA)

If you're eligible for the Bachelor's to Master's Program, you could get an institutional GPA by taking graduate courses: https://www.tesu.edu/academics/bachelors-to-masters-program

The classes are still on the Statistics.com platform but you register through TESU, get a TESU syllabus and grade, etc.
