Sophia - principals of finance or financial accounting? - cclocks8 - 09-17-2022 I'm trying to complete credits before I apply to umpi. When I looked up the equivalencies on the wiki, it just lists accounting. Which one should I take? Or should I do both? RE: Sophia - principals of accounting or financial accounting?1 - rachel83az - 09-17-2022 Sophia doesn't have Principals of Accounting or Managerial Accounting. They only have Financial Accounting. Which, until recently, was just called Accounting. Prin of Finance will come in as an Elective IIRC - but it can't hurt to have the knowledge for when you take the course at UMPI. Principles of Finance transfers a LL business elective. Financial Accounting transfers as BUS150. Which degree are you going for? RE: Sophia - principals of finance or financial accounting? - Ideas - 09-17-2022 Principles of finance would be easier. RE: Sophia - principals of finance or financial accounting? - bjcheung77 - 09-17-2022 Sophia.org courses are not proctored; I would take both the Accounting and Finance course if you're needing extra credits and knowledge for your business degree, especially if it's a requirement. |
