TESU transcript before graduation - spohara - 10-14-2022 I was wondering what the TESU transcript would look like and if I can order copies before graduating. Right now I'm still in 'applicant' status, so I assume the courses from SDC and ACE aren't going to show up on a transcript yet, but I'm wondering when I enroll what my official transcript will look like. I'll likely begin the capstone in Dec, which means I won't graduate until June. In the meantime I want to be able to apply to jobs and an 'alternate' requirement is having 30 SH in the field which is the equivalent to a major (it puts me into a tier down from having a degree in the field, but at least my application won't get a big red X automatically, I'll just be put in a tier of qualified but not best qualified). I believe this requirement will be met based on all the alt credits I have, but I have to be able to send transcripts that show them. The 'unofficial transcript' only shows my hours that I've taken at TESU in the past, but what will my official look like before graduation? Will the alt credits be there? Will it include ones that they haven't applied to my degree (second bach, so no elective spots for me to show my DSI courses, which help for employment, but don't count toward the degree)? RE: TESU transcript before graduation - davewill - 10-15-2022 It will have all of your transfer credits, including the alt credits. It won't matter whether they are being applied to your degree program or not. Indeed, the transcript doesn't indicate whether any particular course applies to your degree. It's not that expensive to go ahead and order a transcript for yourself. In fact, I would expect most employers would be happy with a copy and not insist on an official one. RE: TESU transcript before graduation - spohara - 10-16-2022 Thanks for the info. That's actually pretty good news, since I have well over the 30 hr requirement now. And for me, it's a two stage process. I send in an unofficial to qualify, and then if they choose to verify, they'll ask for the official. Usually that is after selection, and these processes usually take months - I may have graduated by the time they get around to it. |
