Fastest path to a Bachelors in Computer Science? - qpzm10qpzm10 - 12-03-2022

Which schools are the best for a Computer Science degree?

I have 0 credits at the moment, but I'm sure some would transfer from my CCAF from the military as it's IT related. Ideally, I would like to complete as many credits as possible from self study rather than taking some classes at the actual school. Before I decided on CS, I was planning for an accounting degree at TESU because I only had to take 2 classes at the actual school. I would like to find another situation like this where I can do like >90% of the degree myself and then transfer the credits and only have a few classes to complete at the school.

Any advice? Thank you!

TESU BA in CS is probably the fastest
or you can try WGU BS in CS.

If you want to transfer in 90+% TESU is the best option. WGU is another potential option but it only allows 75% of your degree transfered in.

Since you're active duty, I'd take advantage of as many free CLEPs and DSSTs.

TESU is a great option if you have a lot of GE courses, and if you have 24cr of RA; WGU may be a better option if you don't have much in the way of GE or Free Electives.

If you post your credits on here, then we can tell you what your options are.

Include the dates you took courses for IT, since there are limits there.
