FYI: Dropping courses is different now - jch - 12-19-2022 As a result of TESU's transition away from the old WebAdvisor/OSS portal, students no longer have the ability to drop courses themselves on demand. Formerly, it was possible to drop courses at any time with an instant effect. The new portal doesn't appear to have that capability. Now, students must submit the Course Withdrawal Request Form on the TESU website. You'll receive an automated receipt within a few hours and then a confirmation of course withdrawal within a few business days. TESU processes the form as of the date of submission - ie if you send it in on a weekend, they'll see it on Monday and make it effective as of the submission date. I believe you can also drop courses by speaking with academic advising or the registrar. I had to drop a few courses this term because of medical issues that left me far behind. After trying to catch up and failing, I submitted the withdrawal forms yesterday (the last day of the October 2022 term) and TESU accepted them. How to withdraw courses under new system? - KsT - 01-22-2023 Anyone know how to withdraw courses under the new system with TESU? I tried looking around and couldn't find it Update: Resolved Thanks to jch I saw there's a new form to process withdrawals at https://eforms.tesu.edu/appnet/reg10.html. It's no longer possible to drop/withdraw courses on your own because of the new portal. https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-FYI-Dropping-courses-is-different-now |
