Budget: I'd like to go the cheapest route possible, but will consider spending more for easy and fast.  Would consider school loans.

Commitments: I currently work full time and can work on my studies part time or in the evenings/weekends, but would consider switching to part time work to finish degree faster.

Dedicated time to study: I can study as much as is needed during the night or weekends as long as my schedule is free. I estimate at least 2 hours every week night and on the weekends, maybe 4 hours, total would be roughly 18-20 hrs per week.

Timeline: Finishing the courses required for the degree as fast as possible would be ideal.  I would like to finish within 6-7 months

Tuition assistance/reimbursement: No

How do you feel about writing papers? You're pretty well poised to continue to UMPI.

I vote UMPI - you have the right credits to do this easily. I'd do one more month at Sophia, and take Am Gov and Business Comm while you're waiting to start. I might also do a month of Study.com and do at least 2 business courses to cut down on how much you need to do at UMPI, because you're at 16 courses, which is a good amount - you might need 3 terms, and I'd rather you get down a couple so you could finish in 2 terms instead.

@angela.larson, Wow, those are huge fonts! Hey, just wondering, which UMPI BABA concentration are you more interested in? I think any of the concentrations would do, but you may prefer Management & Leadership or Project Management & Info Systems, it won't really matter as the bulk of the credits you currently have will transfer over to either in a very similar fashion...

I suggest you apply for UMPI BABA and a specific concentration you're interested in and get these credits evaluated so you know where you stand. If you don't have a preference and any degree (semi-related to Business would work), then the BLS with a minor or two may work for you. It really depends on you, how fast you can get things done, I say 2-3 sessions should suffice...

So based on what was listed you are saying 16 more courses are needed?  And by doing two of those at Sophia and 2 at study then would need 12 at UMPi?  Thanks for the help.

Prefer papers to test taking!

If you prefer papers to exams, you'll fit right in with UMPI! Most classes are graded based on a final paper or project. There are few exams, and those are slowly being phased out.

Check the wiki for degree plans and to choose which BABA interests you the most: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Category:UMPI

@angela.larson, thanks for your reply. However, it really didn't answer the question as I know you're going for the BABA which is a Business Administration major, I was curious which concentration out of the few on YourPace you're going for, if you have a specific one you're going for, you should follow the link Rachel83AZ has above in post #6...

It really depends on which concentration interest you most, as it'll be easier if you have more interest in that subject matter. What was your Pierpont AAS emphasis in? If your Pierpont AAS had an emphasis in Info Systems, you can try ladder into the UMPI PM & IS option or do something a bit different, like Management & Leadership.
