SDC Business 311: Project Management - Staceys88 - 07-10-2023

Hi There,

I'm currently working on SDC Business 311: Project Management which I see is equivalent to TESU MAN-435 Project Management. Does anyone happen to know how this would be applied to the BSBA-marketing degree? I'm hoping it would apply within the Core section since my General Education requirements are almost completed.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Stacey

Project management doesn't fit the business core or AOS for marketing. I would suggest finishing up the required parts of your degree before doing free electives.

That's right, the Marketing AOS requires it to all be Marketing classes...

Update: Are you planning to add another AOS? If you have the energy, money, time to add a second AOS, you can have the PM course included.

The PM course worked in the AoS my BSBA/HR degree, and I think it also work in OpsManagement, and maybe CIS; but I have not seen it work in any others. I would skip that if you're doing marketing, and do the ones we KNOW will work.

Also, it will not work in the core - only the courses listed there will work, and PM is not listed.
