Goals: to graduate as soon as possible wishing in like 12 months to get out the situation im in and i take care of my 1 year old.
I am not good in writing essays or coming up with stories or ideas. The last grade school class I was in was when I was in 7th or 8th grade. I did drop out a couple of classes in college because I just couldn't focus at the time I had some issues going on like most of my life.
I dont know where to start on what classes. I was just going to take a bunch of classes that are accepted by whichever school I choose and than transfer all my credits at once and see what is left. My idea was I register into which ever would be an easier college from the following
WGU, TESU, Excelsior University or my first choice was University of wisconsin systems their Flex program.
I appreciate everyone's advice and time ! If anyone has any insights on any of these schools please share I would greatly appreciate it.

Hello! So just a little back story about my schooling history. I spent my child moving back and fourth from the states to my mother's home land and I never got to attend highschool and my last middle school class was 8th grade. I was wondering if WGU is hard and if it's possible to get it within a year. Or do you have to be really smart. I seen a few others but I can't tell which online college is the easiest for someone like me. I have a 1 year old now and I'm trying to get a degree so I can't get out of a terrible situation and have my own place and stuff.I am not good in writing essays or coming up with stories or ideas. Budget: I am hoping 10k at most.
Commitments:being a mom to a 1 year old and taking care of my mom and sister that's 16.
Dedicated time to study: I think ideally like 3 hours a day or more if possible.
Timeline: I would like to finish within a year or 16 months.
Tuition assistance: I'm gonna try to apply for some financial aid/student loans.
Also another question how would I know which classes to knock out for my degree from Sophia or study.com?
And do I register now or do I register after I get more classes done with Sophia? Thank you so much!

Normally, WGU can be a good option for people, but in your case, I'm going to suggest that you do TESU simply because you don't have to pay up front for a term - instead, you take all of the courses you want, and then take the final 2 at TESU (or 15cr in a single term to save some money). This way, you're not out a big chunk of cash until AFTER you've completed 114cr (or 105cr) and already know that this is the degree you want to do.
Also, it's very easy to think you want a CS degree, then find that you can't pass some courses, and decide on a different degree (happens ALL THE TIME). So again, you're not putting down any money until after you're well into completing the degree.
Start with Sophia, and take every course that will work in the degree; then switch to Study.com to get the remaining credits that you need for the AoS(major).

Intro psychology: 3cr >> 3cr SocSci area
Principles of chemistry: 4cr >> 4cr NatSci area

Computers in health: 3cr >> 2cr Free Electives? Not sure

Oh wow that's cool I didn't know that! How would it work with financial aid if I can get a grant? Also, I haven't been in the tech field or engineering field ever but I'm hearing that people are getting fired left and right because their being replaced with cheaper companies outside the country. Is there a business degree that would be a good career ? Other than having to deal with sales. Lol I'm not good at BS people I feel too bad! I can't sell something I wouldn't want to buy myself.

I went back to TESU to see their payment plans but it doesn't mention anything about paying once you graduate.

Before you begin your journey towards a BS Computer Science or similar fields such as Cybersecurity, IT, etc... Basically, you may want to review the posts or threads and the WIKI of degree plans available for various institutions, this is to get an idea of what you're looking at or looking forward to... Generally, I like to have more info to dig deep into and find out what I like to learn, so my suggestion is the same I mentioned on that thread, don't decide on the BS Comp Sci or similar degrees until you've taken the general education courses with a few of these, you want to get your feet wet and get the cheapies/freebies from Coursera/TADA and CLEP/MS or Sophia.org offerings first.
