ENG/PCJ courses - enowiller - 08-07-2023 I tried searching for specific info and tips regarding some of the courses for the English: PCJ degree but couldn't find any current (2023) posts. I have about 39 credits left of the entire degree and I am struggling with the lack of explicit instruction or direction from the professors within the English department. I have taken the required BUS courses and was able to fly through them and if I had questions or assignments needed to reworked/formatted then the professor was able to clearly and concisely provide details of what needed to be changed. My main concerns are with Professor Lea Allen. Her assignments expectations/requirements aren't clear enough. I had to withdraw from multiple of her courses because she took anywhere from 10-14 days to respond to my assignments or drafts and then requested I rewrite them in their entirety. I was able to submit two iterations of each assignment before the term was over. So if anyone has any tips on ENG-241, 242, and 391 I would be immensely grateful! RE: ENG/PCJ courses - ss20ts - 08-07-2023 Have you contacted the professor to set up a Zoom meeting? I found this helped when I had questions and that email wasn't always the best format. The English/Comm courses are known for being slower and longer. |
