Looking to add a minor. Can I minor in PS and if so what are the courses needed?

Minors have to be approved by UMPI, but they do so based on the Minors section towards the end of the Academic Programs page in the current University Catalog. The requirements for Political Science are here: 18 credits total in Political Science of which a minimum 12 are upper level, meaning 300-level or above.

Technically the PoliSci Minor is not available on YourPace. You'd have to work with Jessica to see if there's a way to complete it. All courses for on campus minors are not available in YourPace. Technically, the only minors available in YourPace are the ones shown on the website. Those are the only minors where UMPI offers all of the required courses on YourPace. On campus has a ton of programs that aren't and will never be available on YourPace.

Jessica got back with me. All the courses are available at UMPI. She added the minor for me. 1 of the course is coming from sophia but they offer the course at UMPI as well.

That's great, exactly what I thought as well... most if not all the courses on the link shows the required Political Science minor requirement courses I believe, didn't actually check out the catalog to verify though...

I minored in Political Science easily by taking 6 Dr Zaborney Political Science classes. No questions, simple to add it.

He's not teaching all of those classes anymore. There are additional professors now.
