UNA Accounting Completion Transfer Credits? - whimsyUnleashed - 09-28-2023
Just wondering if anyone in here has tried to transfer credits from the UNA Accounting Career Completion Program (University of North Alabama) to UMPI? They are extended learning credits, but most state boards accept them for CPA licensure and some colleges accept them as transfers, so I'm just wondering if anyone has transferred them here. I checked, and they aren't listed in the transfer database.

Hmm, Have you completed the courses already? If so, you're the guinea pig! If not, then email academic advising or your advisor to see if they would at least evaluate or something on a case-by-case basis...

I am not sure about UNA, but I started with CNM's CPA Post Degree Certificate of Completion program, which also wasn't in the transfer database when I applied. UMPI evaluated all of my accounting courses as equivalent to their courses for the most part. If you have taken some of the coursework at UNA, you can submit the syllabi to the UMPI Transfer Officer to establish equivalency as I have. UMPI has a great accounting program, if you are trying to finish as fast as possible and move on to the MAcc.
