I see many of you with nice framed degrees and mine came over Parchment looking like someone who didn't know how to use Word typed it up at home. Is a "real" diploma coming in the mail?

Haha, yeah, that's the real deal... they recently changed everything over to Parchment. Oh well, get a frame to go with it to make it 'nicer'.

It would take someone under 30 seconds to fix this. I don't let my employees turn in work like this, nor does my boss. Has anyone actually pushed back on this, do you know?

You'll get a paper diploma in the mail. But it'll pretty much look the same, as far as I'm aware.
I'm not sure how many students have complained directly to UMPI about this.

There have been posts on it before, here, have a read on these two... With a frame, you 'hardly' notice it at all...

In the email from parchment it has a note from Lisa Smith the registrar - stating we will receive the paper diploma by mail. I also noticed a big difference from the preview of the diploma to the downloaded version. I will also be framing mine to jazz it up a bit!

Where do you purchase the frame? And did you double or triple minor in anything?
