General Thanks And Where I'm Headed Now - TINASAM - 10-22-2023 Y'all know me as the girl that pops in from time to time to ask a million different questions about 1,000 schools and 100 different programs, lol. I have always struggled with decision indecision and the fear that I'm going to screw everything up with the wrong decision. Y'all pointed me to the Pierpont Associate (and therefore to Sophia back before they changed and I got a metric ton of classes done in a very short timeframe cheaply) and gave me the information for the union degree at EGCC (that I ended up not getting and just transferred all my credits at that point to Franklin University). With the transfer credits to Franklin and a few terms there, I graduated with another associates and a bachelor's. Spent all of 2023 going back and forth between Master's programs in an endless debate between schools and degrees. Finally decided a couple of months ago to say screw it and I am going to an in-state college virtually starting in January 2024. I am figuring 18 months tops for that program. In April of 2024 I can also take one Master's class a term at UoPeople just to add additional knowledge and a NA degree to the mix. I wanted quicker and cheaper, but after assessing my health and the ability to put that much strain on me physically and mentally, I went with the smarter option. Afterwards I already have a doctorate lined up and ready. Even though I only used the schools and programs mostly talked about here for the first year of my studies, I still come here to gain insight and learn of new programs and paths. I deeply appreciate each and every one of you for what you do. RE: General Thanks And Where I'm Headed Now - rachel83az - 10-22-2023 Congrats! Regardless of your path, that's a lot of degrees. Good luck! ![]() RE: General Thanks And Where I'm Headed Now - davewill - 10-22-2023 You've taken a path that often isn't discussed here. I hope you take the time to detail some of your journey, so other people can benefit from your experience.
