How to start MAOL? - Junco - 11-05-2023
Have just knocked out five classes, I have only four courses to go in my bachelor's at UMPI via YourPace. If I want to start the MAOL in January, how do I do that? Do I complete the standard application? Let Jessica know? And if I have financial aid for spring term, does it get adjusted for the MAOL? Thanks!

Complete the standard application. You'll get an acceptance likely from Courtney. Just be up front about it and email her. Once accepted let Jessica know ahead of time.
The financial aid will get adjusted, however it will be at a different itnerest rate. You will not get the pell grant for it.

If you are currently enrolled in fall2. You will have to wait out a session before you will be accepted. I finished Fall 1 and had to wait out fall2 session. I applied for fall2 but was told that there has to be a waiting session. So she moved my app to the January session.

@Junco, you have to apply quickly just to make sure you get in, so don't delay. Question, did you take the 3-4 classes that can be transferred into the MAOL? Basically, there are 3-4 classes that can transfer into the MAOL and you'll be exempt from 3 of the courses, thus you only need 9 classes for the MAOL and can probably finish in 2 sessions.
