Admission Requirements for Ancient Homeschooled Students - Spalmer - 12-05-2023 Hello, I am a 45 year old who is considering UMPI. I was homeschooled, and graduated way back in 1996. I do NOT have high school transcripts, only a diploma. I have 12 credits from SNHU, 27 credits from Sophia, and have recently completed the Google Data Analytics Certificate from Coursera. If I were to get an Associate's from Pierpont (or anywhere else) before applying to UMPI, would they waive the high school transcript requirement? Thanks in advance for any help! RE: Admission Requirements for Ancient Homeschooled Students - bjcheung77 - 12-05-2023 To answer your question, yes, if you have an Associates already, they would skip the High School transcript requirement. You have a good path here, the trifecta of certs, degree, experience and can work towards your current goal by doing the Pierpont BOG AAS and ladder to a Bachelors of choice... For reference of the various options you have, you can review your previous thread: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-Need-Advice-for-Degree-Type-and-Plan RE: Admission Requirements for Ancient Homeschooled Students - rachel83az - 01-03-2024 To add to bjcheung77's post, in case it wasn't clear, Pierpont doesn't require transcripts/diplomas from older students. This is true whether the student graduated from a homeschool situation or a traditional HS. |
