Master's in Mathematics? - Chankosumo - 01-31-2024 Hello! I was wondering if you could assist me with finding a online master's in Math? Are you aware of any program under $10000? If you know any, please let me know even if it's only with a NA accreditation. I could consider international programs too. So far, the closest program I could find is M.S. in Mathematics from Northwest Missouri State University Thanks! RE: Master's in Mathematics? - Jonathan Whatley - 01-31-2024 If a master's major or concentration, etc. in mathematics education would work, options could include from WGU (potentially; subscription-based), American College of Education, Southeastern Oklahoma State University, University of Texas at Arlington, Campbellsville University, and Fort Hays State University. If data analytics is close enough, WGU (potentially); if enterprise analytics is close enough, Amberton University. RE: Master's in Mathematics? - Tomas - 01-31-2024 international one, not pure math though, MSc in Computational Engineering and Mathematics: https://www.uoc.edu/en/studies/masters/masters-degree-computational-mathematical-engineering RE: Master's in Mathematics? - ThatBankDude - 01-31-2024 Emporia State University has a MS in Mathematics. Master's in Mathematics? - NotJoeBiden - 01-31-2024 There are alot of masters of Data Science online degrees if you are interested in statistics. Otherwise Northwest and Emporia are the cheapest I know of. RE: Master's in Mathematics? - fmsoa - 01-31-2024 (01-31-2024, 11:59 AM)Chankosumo Wrote: Hello! What kind of Mathematics? Pure Math? Applied Math (which track? Computational Math? Financial Math? Engineering Math?), Statistics? Math Education? The exact kind of a Math degree like the one from NWMSU that I linked in my post; I can hardly narrow it down better than this one example. Thanks for the suggestions so far; it seem like there are not all that many options for a basic online math master's degree. If there are any other schools with a similar program, please let it be known. RE: Master's in Mathematics? - Jonathan Whatley - 02-01-2024 If you can achieve 75% of above on their Quantitative Proficiency Test, the MSc in Financial Engineering from WorldQuant University (not RA, NA DEAC) could be free. RE: Master's in Mathematics? - datby98 - 02-05-2024 SHSU provides MA in Mathematics: https://online.shsu.edu/degrees/graduate/mathematics/ You might need to check if it is financially affordable. RE: Master's in Mathematics? - bjcheung77 - 02-05-2024 For Data Analytics or Data Science, you may also want to search Coursera and EDX for partnerships that are $10-$15K or even up to $20K if you have the budget. Many of the offerings are with recognized institutions that are highly ranked. You can review options to decide if they meet your budget, course content, length of study, speed to finish, etc. Oh wait, you didn't mention you don't have tuition assistance, so... only go for the ones within budget, I was thinking $20K - $5K/year, over two years would hit the $10K mark. |
