Excelsior College Transcripts - ShotoJuku - 06-03-2006 Has anyone ever received a completed (post degree) transcript from EC? If so, does it just list the class/course taken such as "Biology - A" -OR- "CLEP Exam - Biology - A" like it does in the status results page? Thanks!! Excelsior College Transcripts - libartsmgr - 06-03-2006 That's a good question - I haven't finished yet, but since I'm getting close, I'd like to know as well. I hope someone can enlighten us. ![]() Excelsior College Transcripts - siersema - 06-03-2006 I also haven't yet finished. However, from what Excelsior's website says I believe it would indeed include the CLEP Exam portion. From their website: https://www.excelsior.edu/portal/page?_pageid=57,265454&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL Excelsior College issues two types of transcripts: an official Excelsior College transcript and a student (unofficial) copy of the Excelsior College transcript. There is a fee for both types, and both contain the following information: * Student name * Student address * Student identification number (usually the Social Security number) * Most recent degree program * Most recent degree program concentration or major (if applicable) * Date of most recent enrollment * Date(s) of degree conferral(s) (for graduates only) * Sources of credit * Amount of credit awarded * Grade(s) Excelsior College Transcripts - anar579 - 06-03-2006 I remember having read about this on other forum some time ago; the source of credit, as Siersema indicates, is shown on the transcript. The above is pretty much dead on. It's not too fancy and pretty much gives you the basics. Date of Birth Enroll Date Degree Program Specialization Conferred Prior College Classes Taken Excelsior Classes â and ECE Exams CLEP/DSST Exams w/score or grade Degree Awarded I didnât see a place where it lists your GPA though, just in case a few people out there where wondering. You do however get one free student copy and a green voucher for a free official transcript if you need one sent to anyone. Good luck everyone Scott Excelsior College Transcripts - Casey1300 - 06-22-2006 Maybe we can sign a petition or something to get them to change there diplomas. I heard its really plain which after paying so much for Excelsior you would expect a little better. It doesn't even list the GPA on there? Excelsior College Transcripts - snazzlefrag - 06-22-2006 Casey1300 Wrote:It doesn't even list the GPA on there? That doesn't even make sense! They award Latin Honors, so they definitely do calculate a GPA. I wonder why they don't include it on the transcripts. It's a bit frustrating! Maybe they put the GPA on the "Official" transcript that they send to other schools and employers etc? Excelsior College Transcripts - Cold_navy - 06-22-2006 Snazz, I have both the official and student copies of my transcripts and neither show a GPA. I didn't graduate with any type of honors so I can't speak for the Deploma. There not bad looking, they just look like a deploma. Hope this answers some questions scott |
